7 Great Anti-Aging Tips

Last night, I was surfing for some anti-aging tips and here are few that I found.  I’m definitely going to try some of these.

Avoid the Sun

According to experts, sun exposure is the number one cause of premature wrinkles. Sun adds discoloration and roughens the skin texture and causes loss of collagen.  The loss of collagen leads to drooping, a lost jawline and wrinkles.  If you do go out in the sun then definitely apply the sunscreen with a minimum SPF of 30.

Drink plenty of water

Drink lots of water.  Water is the best for both inner and outer body.  Water flushes waster out of our system and keeps the skin hydrated. Dry skin will develop wrinkles much faster. Drink at least a liter of water every day.

Exercise

The benefits of exercise are immense. It proves to be the best anti-aging tip.  It not only helps to maintain healthy body weight but also improves skin complexion. Running is great along with stretching and yoga.

Get plenty of rest

Your body and skin both needs time to repair itself. Lack of sleep impact’s the body’s metabolism and cause ag-related conditions.

Limit your white sugar intake

Processed sugar speeds up the aging process by weakening the collagen in your skin.  It does not promote healthy body weight or healthy skin.

Eat green and red vegetables

These vegetables contain natural nutrients and anti-oxidants that can contribute to healthy skin. The high water content found in vegetables helps keep the skin hydrated.

Don’t get carried away

There are lots of beauty products in the market and with TV ads, brochures and so forth it can get tempting to buy them.  Keep it simple.  Cleanse and moisturize.
