How many times before going to bed, you felt like you made the best of your day?  You were able to achieve something, or felt happy about the day went and you are looking forward to next day spent the same way. You woke up feeling positive and went to bed feeling the same way. There are in fact very simple ways to make each day count and brighten up your life.  Here are 7 ways you can make each day count starting today.

  1. Set and work towards a goal

Once you know what you want, you will start making the best use of your time.  Your goals will help you follow the right direction, and make progress. 


  1. Be grateful

Be proud and thankful for all you have; family, job, place to live, friends and other good that’s in your life. Instead of complaining, appreciate the blessings and show gratitude.

 

  1. Spend time with loved ones

Your loved ones need you as much as you need them.  Spending quality time with people you care about will make you feel special and give you a renewed sense of purpose.

  1. Do what you love

Doing things that brings happiness is the best way to make your day count.  It could be anything you are passionate about, reading, craft project, cooking favorite dish, writing letters to loved ones, anything that brings joy.

  1. Live in the moment

Feel the present moment, cherish each minute of the day without worrying about the future or dwelling on the past. This moment that you have now won’t come back, so use it wisely.  Live it! Cherish it! Enjoy it!


  1. Be creative

Being creative will help you stay focused and nurture what you are passionate about.  Creativity nourishes the soul and puts a smile on your face. 

  1. Stay positive

Don’t negativity rule your day, you won’t be able to make the best of it.  Think positive and do what brings a sense of accomplishment, and joy in life. Trust your abilities and looks towards happiness and success.




As they say, life is short.  Make each day matter by doing what you love, spending more time with your loved ones, staying creative and positive, and cherishing each moment.  Life is yours and only you can decide how you want your days to go.
