Classic Illustrated Books for Kids

January 31, 2013

I’m a big fan of story books for kids which include classic illustrations. Here are few of my favorites which you can also find at Amazon.com at a very affordable price. If you also come across any other books similar to these then please do let me know. I’d love to purchase them as well.

You probably have seen these books before which are among the most remembered and beloved. These books will also make great gifts to any child which will be cherished for years to come. I bought these for my little girl and she loves them. These are great collector books as well.

Baby Listens – chubby-cheeked babies discovering sounds around the house, from the jingle of Mommy’s keys to the buzzing of Daddy’s razor. Love it!

Little Mommy – in this story is an adorable little girl who spends the day in her charming company as she cared for her dolls, treats their ills, gives them a tea party, feeds them dinner, and puts them to bed.

Baby’s Christmas – this sweet rhyming story from 1959 shows the presents that Santa bought for Baby’s first Christmas. Babies will love to watch this adorable baby playing with his toys and enjoying his first Christmas!

The Please and Thank You Book – this is a funny first book of manners, in rollicking rhyme! This collection of short, snappy poems about grabby gorillas, wild cats, sloppy pigs, sharing bears, and thoughtful elephants will have kids in stiches as they’re reminded how – and how not – to behave.

A Day at the Seashore – Nancy and Timmy hop out their beds one summer morning and help pack their swimsuits and lunch. And then it’s off to the seashore. Perfect for preschoolers!

Poems to Read to the Very Young – beloved illustrations capture the poetry of childhood, and bring out the magic of over 30 poems. Definitely delighting for the kids and even parents too.

Get these soon while there are still copies available. Have Fun!
